Synopsis

FAMILY TIES PART 1 Catwoman attempts to steal a jeweled dagger from the Marquez family, a South American crime family that has recently tried to expand into Gotham. Though she is successful, the defeated Marquez underlings warn her that they will hunt her and the dagger to the ends of the Earth. Catwoman ignores this warning at first, but over the next six months, realizes that someone is sabotaging all of her heists by sending police to every location she plans to rob.  Eventually, the Marquez Dagger resurfaces in the murder of Bryce Hellman, a produce tycoon and Gotham City's reigning drug kingpin. With him dead, the Marquez family begins an all-out takeover of Gotham's underworld. Catwoman suspects that the Marquez family is behind the recent string of sabotages, and pursues an alliance with the family's chief enemy: Bryce Hellman's daughter Hillary.   In order to gain Hillary's favor, Catwoman infiltrates the Marquez Estate to gain information on their latest plans. She is quickly discovered by Eduardo and Paulo, the sons of the Marquez family boss, but to her surprise, both of the brothers allow her to "escape" the mansion alive to further their own agendas. As Catwoman vaults over the estate's walls, however, she finds herself cornered by a small army of gunmen.
